Participants learn first aid skills to treat a variety of injuries such as burns, wounds, head, neck and back injuries, and heat/cold related emergencies. Participants also learn to manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure and poisonings. This course does not include information on rescue breathing and cardiac emergencies. Heartsaver First Aid or equivalent required for all Recreational Sports employees.
