Participants learn first aid skills to treat a variety of injuries such as burns, wounds, head, neck and back injuries, and heat/cold related emergencies. Participants also learn to manage sudden illnesses, stroke, seizure and poisonings. This course does not include information on rescue breathing and cardiac emergencies. Heartsaver First Aid or equivalent required for all Recreational Sports employees. Cant make this in person course? Visit our website to complete a hybrid course. Take an AHA online class, and then perform a Skills Check Session up to 60 days after online completion of Safety Class.
