HMSC Research Seminar-How to Access Multidisciplinary Time Series Data from the Ocean Observatories Initiative

Speaker: Ed Dever, OOI, CEOAS, Oregon State University

Topic:  How to Access Multidisciplinary Time Series Data from the Ocean Observatories Initiative

The Ocean Observatories Initiative is long term NSF-funded project to provide multidisciplinary observations for research and education.  The OOI currently operates arrays in the North Pacific (Station Papa, Regional Cabled Array and Coastal Endurance Array) and North Atlantic (Irminger Sea and Coastal Pioneer Array).  In this talk, I will describe the types of data available from the Ocean Observatories Initiative(OOI)  and several ways to access these data.  I will focus on the OOI Endurance Array off Washington and Oregon operated by Oregon State Univ.  For more help in accessing the OOI data, Craig Risien and I will be at HMSC from 10-4 on 6 March.  We are happy to arrange additional one on one meetings to suit your schedule.
