Dr. Isaac Madsen of Washington State University will be leading this small group session about the following: Scanner based rhizoboxes have been successfully used to document a variety of root soil interactions. However, there are many challenges to collecting and analyzing high quality image data. This session will discuss best practices and pitfalls in 2-D scanning technology.
