Our panelists:

The Honorable Jane Lubchenco, PhD, is a world leader in science, communication, and government, and has been in the forefront of sustained efforts to inspire scientists to engage with citizens and leaders. She has authored multiple high-profile news articles and has a deep understanding of public communication.

Dr. Karen McLeod is the Deputy Director of COMPASS, a national organization who champions, connects, and supports diverse science leaders to improve the well-being of people and nature. She is an expert in supporting scientists to strategically engage for social and environmental change.

Steve Lundeberg is a News & Research Writer for OSU with more than 30 years of experience as a reporter. Lundeberg covers the colleges of Engineering, Pharmacy, Science, and Forestry, as well as the Linus Pauling Institute.
