“Identifying and adapting to climate change as a modifiable risk factor for chronic disease” will be presented by CPHHS Associate Professor Perry Hystad, environmental and occupational health, from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, in HFC 115 and online. Perry Hystad is an environmental epidemiologist focused on understanding the health impacts related to place. A large portion of his research uses spatial exposure assessment methods to determine the chronic health effects associated with exposure to air pollution, including cardiovascular and respiratory diseases and cancer.
