Imagination and Mental Health: Is a Picture Worth a Thousand Words?

Join Psyched Out for our fall speaker event with Dr. Hannah Lawrence! We will discuss how some types of mental imagery can increase risk for mental health concerns like depression and suicide and how we can harness more helpful mental imagery in new mental health treatments to reduce this risk.

The Psyched Out Club at OSU offers students that are interested in psychology a place to work on professional development, an avenue to engage with the psychology community at OSU, and a safe space for promoting mental health and inclusivity.
