The department of Integrative Biology presents a seminar with Sarah Henkel, Distributional and behavioral responses of marine benthic species to human-use and global changes.

Dr. Sarah Henkel is an Associate Professor in Integrative Biology and an Associate Director of the Pacific Marine Energy Center. As a benthic ecologist, her research interests broadly address potential effects of human activities (e.g. offshore renewable energy installations, marine reserve designations, fishing, coastal development, invasive species, climate change) on seafloor habitats and species, particularly macrophyte (seaweeds and seagrass) and invertebrate dominated communities.
