Evolution in the Tidepool: Functional and Population Genetics of Adaptation Between Pacific Tides

In general, Dr. Barreto's research examines evolutionary processes in aquatic, primarily marine, animals.  Current areas of study include the genetics of speciation and adaptation, as well as the relationship between sexual selection and parental care.
