Intent into Action: The Black Lives Matter movement as an opportunity to advance authentic inclusion (2-part workshop series)

Are you impacted by current events and the emerging racial discourse? Do you see opportunity to advance authentic inclusion at OSU? With heartfelt guidance and a few good tools, Search Advocate director Anne Gillies and Social Justice Education director Jane Waite will facilitate a process designed to advance your feelings and intentions into positive impacts that interrupt systemic racism.

Learning Objectives

1. Distill your intent in responding to the BLM movement

2. Articulate professional goals related to your intent

3. Align your intentions with potential outcomes

4. Create an effective action plan

Follow this series registration link to register for both sessions in the series and receive Zoom connection information.  The first session is on Wednesday, January 20, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm; the second session is on Friday, January 22, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
