Javier Zamora’s award-winning memoir "Solito" tells the story of his migration through Guatemala, Mexico, and the Sonoran Desert at the age of 9.

On October 16, Zamora will be at @oregonstateprax in conversation with assistant professor of history, Joel Zapata, whose research focuses on borderlands, migration, labor, and civil rights. There will be a book signing after the event in the Toomey Lobby.
