InnovationX Workshop Series: Intellectual Property
Wednesday, November 4, 2020 1pm to 2pm
About this Event
An essential part of innovation is protecting your ideas. In this session, students will be introduced to the basics of Intellectual Property - trademarks, copyrights, and patents, with a focus on the patent process and what engineers need to know to protect their ideas.
This content is highly pertinent to success in engineering and business - and for anyone working with new ideas.
Carsten Grellmann is a 2009 OSU graduate with an Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2012, and is a registered patent attorney at Klarquist Sparkman, LLP, where his practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications for medical devices, mechanical, electrical, and software-related technologies.
This is a session that all engineers and students with innovative ideas and an interest in business essentials will not want to miss!
"Can't make it in person? We've got you covered. A recording of this event will be available for a week afterwards. RSVP to receive the link."
