Launch-U Speaker Series: Jarvez Hall "Student Athlete to Student Entrepreneur: How D1 Athletes (and nonathletes) can be successful entrepreneurs"

'Entrepreneurship' often feels like something we might think about doing someday - or like something that other people do. But entrepreneurship - aka learning to do things with ideas - can be done now, and can be done by you!

Join Jarvez to explore the path to entrepreneurship for student athletes and non-athletes alike.

Meet Jarvez:
OSU alum Jarvez Hall is the Executive Director of the East Metro Economic Alliance and founder of J.D. Hall and Associates, LLC., which provides strategic consulting to nonprofit organizations. Current clients include the Oregon High School International Relations League.

Jarvez also serves as the Business Advisory Services Coordinator for Ascent Funding, a nonprofit CDFI provider of capital for minority and women-owned businesses.

While completing his undergraduate degree in Business from OSU, Jarvez was a member of the 2001 Pac-10 Co-Championship football team which defeated Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl. He earned an MBA from Willamette University focusing on Business, Government, and Not-for-Profit Management and is currently working on a Doctorate of Education in Transformational Leadership at Concordia University.

All students are invited to attend - come learn and be inspired!

Can't make it in real time? No worries, we've got you covered. A recording will be available to registered attendees.
