Lessons in Leadership are small, interactive conversations in which students get to explore a unique perspective on leadership by connecting with an OSU campus or community leader who is in some way involved in social change work. This event is intended for OSU students. 

We invite you to this conversation with Amira Rahali-Smith, FoodCorps AmeriCorps Service Member and OSU alum '20, to discuss how she demonstrates leadership in her involvement with FoodCorps and childhood environmental education. We will explore the challenges of virtual teaching during the pandemic, as well as the importance of empowering underrepresented children in the Portland Metro area to learn about food security and representation in the outdoors.

Students are the intended audience for this event.
