Lessons in Leadership: Masculinity within Leadership with Souksavanh T. Keovorabouth (Diné)
About this Event
Lessons in Leadership are small, interactive conversations in which students get to explore a unique perspective on leadership by connecting with an OSU campus or community partner who is in some way involved in social change work.
We invite you to this conversation with Souksavanh T. Keovorabouth (Diné), a Doctoral Student in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies who focuses on reclaiming/renaming “masculinity" within Queer, Trans/Black, Indigenous and People of Color(QT/BIPOC) communities from their experience as a Two-Spirit person. Join us as we delve deeper into masculinity in leadership and how it has shaped our perception of what we think leadership should be and how it conforms to white heteropatriarchal ideologies.
