The Letitia Carson Legacy Project invites you to visit the land Letitia and David Carson first settled in Oregon! On Sept. 28, we will offer three guided tours of the Carson Donation Land Claim and homestead site. Each tour will cover approximately 2 miles in 2 hours.

The route is a loop; tours will start and end at the Tampico Rd. gate of the OSU Soap Creek Beef Ranch (specific directions will be sent out upon confirmation of registration), where visitors can park.

We will be walking on varying terrain, including mowed grass and dried plant debris from trail clearing, which may be uneven in spots. The route has minimal elevation change and no stairs. We are continuing to work to improve site accessibility for future events.
