Mark your calendars for the Onion Variety Day at the Malheur Experiment Station. This is a chance for growers, industry, and researchers to examine a replicate of the onion variety trial where the onions are lifted and laid out in half of the plot and the other half of the onion plot is still growing. You will be able to examine each of the more than 50 varieties of onions in the trial. There will be a shade canopy setup with water and refreshments in the field.
The Onion Variety Day includes a hosted lunch at noon. The event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP to ensure proper catering for lunch.
