Learn from your OSU Extension Forester along with other woodland owners, in class and in the field. Instruction will emphasize key steps and lessons learned from real-life examples. This session and resource packets provided will cover topics including:
Maintaining forest and tree healthReducing fire hazards and risk Harvesting, marketing, business, and financial incentivesMaintaining forestland tax statusEnhancing and conserving habitat for fish, wildlife, and ecosystem functionsSources of assistance, public and private professionals, and trained volunteersRegistration is required. The cost is $20. Field session to be arranged based on participant locations. Register online for the Hood River workshop. Please register by October 26.
