A free, marine debris workshop will be held Saturday, January 4 in Bandon for formal and informal educators of students in grades 3-12.
Participants will learn strategies for teaching about marine debris to inspire action among coastal and inland students, gain field experience, access to locally-relevant lessons, and earn 7 PDU hours. Oregon Sea Grant is offering the program in partnership with South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve, Oregon Coast STEM Hub and the NOAA Marine Debris Program.
