DESCRIPTION:Fresh\, fierce and fun\, Maruja Limón brings the energy to sta
rt the academic year off right and with a special pair of concerts — one
for students and one for the public with a special OSU employee discount!
\n\nFormed in Barcelona in 2014\, Maruja Limón fuses Catalan\, flamenc
o and Latin rumba with experimental electronic sounds\, dembow\, salsa and
pop — all wrapped in lyrics that move seamlessly from sincerity and sim
plicity to irony and wit. Having performed for more than a decade at festi
vals across Europe and North Africa\, Maruja Limón first toured the U.S.
in 2025\, including appearances at the Kennedy Center and the Lincoln Cent
er. Tickets for OSU employees are just $15!\n\nPRAx gratefully acknowle
dges the support of Elaine Hill Leback '86 & Brent D. Leback '84 for this
 program.
