Mindful Self-Compassion 8-Week Training

Mindful Self-Compassion 8-Week Training

The Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) 8-week series is a rigorous immersion into the practices, skills and theory of developing warmth and friendship with ourselves in our lives and when we need it the most - in periods of stress, grief, hardship, and struggle.  Inspired by Buddhist metta practices, but formulated for anyone and everyone, the MSC curriculum has been utilized in the explosion of research on self-compassion which is shown to support psychological well-being, optimism, reduced anxiety and reactivity, more caring relationships, as well as increased personal responsibility and capacity for perspective taking.  Instructed by Kate Gallagher; Hosted by the Contemplative Studies Initiative (CSI).
