Join Dr. Kathryn McIntosh, Associate Professor with the College of Education, for “Mindfulness in Social Justice Education: Critical Race Feminist Perspectives. ” Using data from undergraduates in a social justice course, through both cross-cutting analysis and counter stories of students of color, Dr. McIntosh explores the question of how mindfulness helps students learn multiculturalism from critical race feminist approaches. Plus, how these approaches could prompt curricular changes in undergraduate education to enhance well-being and promote social justice.
