Mission Earth - 2018 STEM Summer Day-Camp: July 30th - August 2nd from 9:00am - 3:00pm.

WHAT:
This 4-day-camp series is located at the Marion County OSU Extension Service (1320 Capitol St NE Suite 110, Salem OR 97301) and designed for youth ages 14-17 who are interested in being outdoors and learning about environmental science and remote sensing using technology with OSU Extension faculty & Salem-Keizer educators. This program is in partnership with NASA Science Mission Directorate, Northwest Earth and Space Pipeline (NESSP), Washington NASA Space Grant Consortium and OSU 4-H Youth Development.

Cost: FREE - including snacks & lunches

TO REGISTER:
To participate, register for the following by emailing: parent_emily@salkeiz.k12.or.us - by July 25th at 5pm. All participants must complete registration paperwork prior to participation. This program is First Come, First Serve and can host up to 30 students. A follow-up email will include instructions for program participation and registration paperwork. WHY?
Get outdoors, explore your environment, and make new friends at this 4-day summer camp on environmental science and remote sensing. Gain experience gathering date on the ground and in the air through fun, hands-on activities. Explore new methods of date visualization and mapping both in the classroom and out in the field. Get artsy and create your own date representations. The cost for attendance is free! Snacks and lunches provided. There are limited spots so register now!
