DESCRIPTION:Everyone is invited to attend this live Zoom event with Molly F
 isk. She'll be exploring connections between poetry and how we process cat
 astrophic events such as wildfire. She'll share selections from the book s
 he edited "California Fire & Water: A Climate Crisis Anthology\," a projec
 t funded by a fellowship from the Academy of American Poets. Fisk created 
 this project to teach kids across California to write poems about the clim
 ate crisis as a way to process their feelings about it. The anthology brin
 gs together selections from these youth poets\, as well as poems by many p
 rominent writers.\n\nMolly Fisk is a poet\, radio commentator\, life coach
 \, writing teacher\, painter\, mentor\, and speaker. She is the author of 
 four collections of poems and three compilations of essays/commentary. She
  served as Poet Laureate of Nevada County\, California\, from 2017 to 2019
 .\n\nSCHEDULE\nThis lecture is part of Spring Creek Project's lecture seri
 es "Lookout: Envisioning Futures with Wildfire." Talks in the series will
