0.1-6 GHz Wideband Mixerless Vector Signal Generator Utilizing RF Tunable Filters
The RF deck of a mixerless vector signal generator, including tunable image reject filters, attenuators, and amplifiers, was designed and built. Testing showed corrected error vector magnitude (EVM) of <1.5% for 500 Mbaud 16 quadrature amplitude modulated (QAM) signals from 1-4 GHz and up to 10 dBm output power.
