National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Did you know that Black/African Americans represent almost 13 percent of the U.S. population, but account for 42.1 percent of HIV infections? HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is a virus that attacks the body’s immune system. If HIV is not treated, it can lead to AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome).  Fill free to join us in raising awareness of AIDS/HIV in the Black community joined with Nikia Braxton.
