Interested in ongoing discussions and direction related to the modernization of the USFS Northwest Forest Plan (NWFP)? Join the College of Forestry for a five-week series on the NWFP Amendment Draft Environmental Impact Statement led by Dr. Meg Krawchuk, associate professor in the Department of Forest Ecosystems and Society, and member of the NWFP Federal Advisory Committee.

Through this series, we’ll aim to build awareness of the potential changes and foster dialogue about the multiple uses and challenges of forest ecosystems in our region. There will be minimal formal presentation or lecture. All are welcome – whether to participate or just listen!

Please RSVP to give us a feel for numbers, but feel free to attend any or all sessions even without RSVP. Meeting details and preparatory readings will be sent to RSVP respondents and posted to the event webpage.
