About this Event
Contingency management (CM) is an evidence-based behavioral intervention that uses positive reinforcement to support people
in achieving their goals. This webinar will provide a description of CM as it has been applied across Washington State to address
stimulant use, followed by a discussion of implementation considerations unique to rural areas. The session will feature a person with lived experience participating in CM, highlighting the impact CM has had on his recovery journey.
Learning objectives:
- Define Contingency Management and how it can be used to address stimulant use.
- Describe CM implementation considerations as they apply to rural areas.
- Examine the impact of CM as shared by a person with lived experience.
