Get the Facts: Exploring Marijuana as Medicine

Whether you call it weed, pot, dope or cannabis, marijuana has a long history of cultivation, consumption and regulation. Yet scientists are still learning how the plant's compounds behave in the human body.

Join OSU College of Pharmacy researcher Jane Ishmael, PhD, for a fascinating discussion about current trends in marijuana use and recent progress in understanding how cannabinoids act on the body. She’ll also speak about the challenges of conducting research for a greater understanding of the federally controlled substance.
