OSU Pacific Islanders Town Hall Meeting

Join the conversation with Pacific Islanders and Pacific Islander community advocates on ways we can improve student support. The State of Oregon, Department of Education, administers the Student Success Act (Oregon House Bill 3427), which ensures significant investments in programs to support historically underserved students. When fully implemented, this act will invest approximately $2 billion per biennium for early learning and K-12 education. Nestled within the Student Success Act is the Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (NHPI) Student Success Plan. Our OSU Pacific Islanders Advisory Group is pleased to host our the Oregon Department of Education’s NHPI Student Success Plan Coordinator, Carol Matsuzaki, who will be visiting our OSU Corvallis campus on Friday, April 25, to gather community feedback and input for inclusion in the plan.
