Fresh Cream is the 1966 debut studio album by the British rock band, Cream. Cream comprised Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker, but was only active as a band for just a short time, from 1966-1969. Fresh Cream peaked at No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart and was released in a slightly different form, in the U.S., peaking at 39 in the U.S. The band and this album is historically significant, though, on many levels, including launching the rock and roll power trio and being a big influence in the birth of jam and heavy metal rock.
