Why is the world made of matter? Neutrinos, tiny elusive particles might hold the answer.

For the 2023 F.A. Gilfillan Memorial Award Lecture, particle physicist Heidi Schellman will share her personal scientific journey and her work with DUNE, the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment. Using a leading-edge, international experiment, researchers will develop the world’s most intense neutrino beam.

OSU is leading the effort to develop novel computational tools to store and process all the data collected.
