http://gemfellowship.org/gradlab-osuPresented by the National GEM Consortium and OSU College of Engineering, the 2018 OSU Grad Lab on September 28 and 29 will offer underrepresented students exposure to the benefits of research and technology careers in a highly interactive two-day event. Focusing on the global importance of research and innovation, life-long career benefits, and real-world role models, the event will help each student envision their future as a technology leader, successfully apply for a GEM fellowship, and gain entry to a graduate program.
The event features workshops led by experts, dynamic key-note speakers, and a graduate resource fair. Attendance is free for all students, and everyone is welcome. The goal of the lab is to encourage underrepresented students to consider graduate engineering or science education and to help them apply for GEM fellowships and graduate school.
