Portland | OSU Science on Tap
Dig into fascinating archaeological discoveries
At this OSU Science on Tap event, mingle with fellow science enthusiasts and hear from College of Liberal Arts Professor Loren G. Davis, a leading scholar in the field of prehistory and geoarchaeology.
Loren will share his current archaeological research on the earliest peoples of North America by showcasing discoveries from the Cooper’s Ferry site in western Idaho and on Cedros Island along Mexico's Pacific Coast. His work aims to learn more about the earliest evidence of deep-sea fishing in the Americas and what this might tell us about migration to the New World.
Dig into these YouTube videos about Loren's work and prepare for this exciting talk.
