This annual meeting devoted to Butterflies and Moths of the Pacific Northwest and the people who study, collect, and photograph them has taken place for over 40 years. Hosted by the Oregon State Arthropod Collection, in the Department of Integrative Biology, this event consists of a series of talks by attendees about topics concerning butterflies and moths.
The program for this year's meeting has not yet been set, but people can register to receive the program announcement when it comes out. Attendance is free, but it does help us to know how many people will be attending, so registration is encouraged.
Individuals are encouraged to bring specimens from their personal collections to display, and attendees set up a viewing room where they can see each other's specimens, discuss, and learn about them. Anyone interested in butterflies and moths, or interested in starting a collection is welcome and encouraged to stop by and check out the collections.
