Students, staff and faculty are invited to attend. The meetings will focus on safety practices and training, how OSU is working to provide a safe campus environment, and what individuals can do to be safe while attending or working at the university.

Public safety officials will discuss what to do in an emergent threat situation, cover the run, hide, fight method, and explain how attendees can assist DPS in being proactive partners in safety. A question and answer period also will be available.  

The ultimate goal of the presentation is to empower audience members so that if they do encounter a dangerous situation, they’ll feel more prepared to address it.
