Professor Choksy will give a lecture that is free and open to the public. Lecture to be followed by reception.

A leading academic authority on the Arab conquest of Iran, Iraq, the Persian Gulf and Central Asia, as well as the spread of Islam, Choksy will discuss the impact of faith on politics, international relations and security.
