Beth Stormshak, PhD, the Philip H. Knight Chair and Professor at the University of Oregon, has dedicated 25 years to groundbreaking research in child and family mental health prevention. As the director of the Prevention Science Institute and CEO of Northwest Prevention Science, Inc., she specializes in understanding risk factors during early and middle childhood that lead to problem behavior in adolescence.
