 he Letitia Carson Legacy Project invites you to visit the land Letitia and
  David Carson first settled in Oregon in the spring of 1846. \n\nOn Oct. 3
 \, we will offer three guided tours of the Carson Donation Land Claim and 
 homestead site. Each tour will cover approximately 2 miles in 2 hours. \n\
 nChoose your preferred tour time when you register.\n\nThe route is an out
 -and-back\; tours will start and end at the Tampico Road gate of the OSU S
 oap Creek Beef Ranch\, where visitors can park. We will send you detailed 
 directions with your registration confirmation.\n\nWe will be walking on v
 aried terrain\, including mowed grass and dried plant debris from trail cl
 earing\, which may be uneven in spots. The route has minimal elevation cha
 nge and no stairs. We are continuing to work to improve site accessibility
  for future events.\n\nClose-toed shoes are a must. We will send other ins
 tructions closer to the event date.\n\n We look forward to welcoming you.
