 prevention program where participants are empowered to make a positive dif
 ference in the lives of others. Similar to CPR\, QPR provides lifesaving k
 nowledge and skills to help someone in crisis.\n\nOne myth about suicide i
 s that once a person decides to commit suicide\, there is nothing anyone c
 an do to stop them. The fact is\, suicide is the most preventable kind of 
 death\, and almost any positive action may save a life.\n\nWho should be t
 rained in QPR to prevent farmer and rancher suicide?\n\nThose who know\, l
 ove\, and care for them: family and friendsMedical providers\, including d
 entistsBankers or financial counselorsVeterinariansFarm equipment and supp
 ly outlets\, pesticide/chemical salespersons \n\nPlease note: Every person
  attending QPR needs to register separately.\n\n**Note that training start
  times are in the Pacific Time Zone\, so if you are from another time zone
 \, be sure to check how that start time translates to your local time. **\
