https://health.oregonstate.edu/research/seminars/2025-04-04College of Health and the Office of Research Integrity are hosting a nine-month Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training Program on the first Friday of each month. Complete your RCR training requirements in monthly sessions with presentations by OSU faculty and staff. This program will allow recipients of NIH career development and training grants to meet their 8-hour, face-to-face training obligations, and for other researchers to meet their requirements and recommendations from other funding agencies. All are welcome to attend.
This RCR Training Symposium at Oregon State University focuses on the critical issue of research misconduct and its far-reaching impact on science and society.

Speakers
Chunhuei Chi, ScD, MPH is a professor in the College of Health at Oregon State University and the Director of the Center for Global Health. With expertise in equitable and sustainable health development, Dr. Chi focuses on health systems finance, universal healthcare, and global health challenges. He has contributed significantly to international health policy discussions and has been actively involved in public health responses to global crises like SARS and COVID-19. Dr. Chi’s work bridges academic research with practical solutions to improve healthcare systems worldwide.
Lisa Leventhal serves as Oregon State University’s Research Integrity Officer and Director for the Program of Responsible Research Practices. With extensive experience in research compliance, Lisa oversees efforts to promote ethical research practices, manage research misconduct investigations, and ensure adherence to federal regulations. Her leadership fosters a culture of transparency and accountability within OSU’s research community.
