This presentation looks at the challenges of maintaining, optimizing, and protecting secure electrical and telecommunications grids, especially with regards to the role industry plays in handling the unique features of each. This talk will also examine the uses of Synchro Phasors in protective relaying and communications optimization, giving a closer look at one of the approaches to solving large-data problems in network protection applications.
