When a member of our community is in distress, Oregon State University responds with compassion, connection, and care. Join this FYI Friday session to learn about OSU Assist, the university’s mobile crisis response program designed to support students and community members experiencing mental health, wellness, or basic needs challenges.

Presenters will share how OSU Assist operates, how staff and faculty can consult or refer, and what happens when a call is made. Together, we’ll explore how this model contributes to a safer, more supportive campus environment. We'll also explore how OSU Assist and Student Care teams partner for long-term support.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify when and how to contact OSU Assist for support.

  • Describe how the program collaborates with university partners.

  • Recognize the types of situations OSU Assist responds to and their service scope.

  • Recognize the types of situations Student Care responds to and their service scope.
