Robotics Seminar Series: INSITU – 25 Years in Unmanned Aviation

Michael Folgate, BDE, from Insitu, an Oregon grown company out of Hood River, will be on hand to provide a presentation on Insitu’s 25 year history and its products and services in the unmanned aviation industry. Mr. Folgate is an Oregon State University alumnus with 20 years of operational military flight experience and eight years of expertise in unmanned aviation industry. He has both experienced and studied unmanned aviation since 2004 and now provides his services as a consultant and executive leadership to Insitu. He specifically works with business development, strategy and support to military customers. A senior executive with strong analytical and communication skills, he is widely recognized for his ability to lead, mentor, develop and drive enterprise level successes on limited budgets and resources. Following his presentation and briefing, he will be available to answer questions from his perspective about the unmanned industry, company, directon of technologies and his impressions on the marketplace share of unmanned aviation between commercial and defense, and potential opportunities for graduates based on their interests.
