SAAM Panel

For Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the OSU Program Council and the Hattie Redmond Women & Gender Center have organized a panel of speakers to discuss sexual violence, including its many forms, its prevalence on college campuses, what resources are available to those who experience it, work that is being done to combat it and the ways in which we can all work to prevent it. Panelists will also be answering questions from the audience.

Our panelists include:

  • Becca Williams - Director of the Survivor Advocacy & Resource Center (SARC)
  • Cassandra Hall - Teacher & advisor for the Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies Program, and a full-spectrum birth worker
  • Renea Perry - Portland Native Community Advocate, Co-Chair of the Alaska Native Brotherhood Grand Camp committee for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives, and First-year Master's student in the WGSS Program
  • Kristen Dewey - Sexual Assault Response Advocate for the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV)
  • Brenda Tracy - Activist, advocate, lobbyist, nurse, survivor, and founder of #SetThe Expectation
