Google is constructing a portfolio of AI tools designed to accelerate scientific research, from hypothesis generation and literature synthesis to experimental design and data analysis. Oregon State University is one of a small number of institutions with early access to these capabilities.

In this session, Google's AI for Science team will walk through what they are building, how these tools fit in real research workflows, and what changes when AI agents can work alongside scientists at machine speed. They will show what works well today, what is coming next, and where human judgment remains essential.

You will come away with a concrete understanding of what AI-assisted science looks like in practice, and what it means for your own research.
