Oregon State University Theatre’s 2019-2020 Season: The Undeniable Truth begins with Shakespeare in Love, based on the screenplay by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard and adapted for the stage by Lee Hall. The production runs November 14-15 and 22-23 at 7:30 pm and November 17 and 24 at 2:00 pm on the Withycombe Hall Main Stage. Withycombe Hall is located at 2901 SW Campus Way, Corvallis OR 97331.
Set in 1592, a young William Shakespeare is a struggling playwright suffering from a severe case of writer’s block until he meets the charming Viola DeLesseps, the daughter of a wealthy merchant with dreams of becoming an actor. This witty play features music, dance, comedy, true love, and a bit with a dog and explores themes of creativity and art.

McKean (Will), Kian Mitchell (Nol), Nick Olson (Wabash), Robert Reeder (Ned), Hannah Schwartz (Nurse), Josh Smith (Wessex), and Kiwi Sturgeon (Molly).
