Build temporary shelters on campus with tarps or snow (weather permitting). Cascades Adventures staff will cover LNT and survival considerations then demonstrate some basic techniques and knots for the first 30 minutes. After that it's your turn to practice! This is a great opportunity to explore and learn some skills, then take them into the field on either the day trip to Vista Butte or the overnight to Todd Lake.
