Small Farm School is an annual, full-day event with hands-on workshops and classroom sessions. It is now in its 14th year! This year’s Small Farm School will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City. This event runs from 7:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m., followed by a farmer social at the Home Orchard Education Center (also at Clackamas Community College). Registration opened July 30 and will remain open until Sept. 5, or tickets run out.

There will be 34 sessions for beginning and experienced farmers, as well as small-acreage landowners. Participants will learn about soil health testing and assessments, leasing land, pasture health, new water bill, getting started with cut flowers, herbs and herbalism and more.
