Imagine a day of fun in the snow, after which you fall asleep in a cozy tent surrounded by friends, warmed by a wood-burning stove… In the morning you wake up to warm coffee or hot cocoa warmed by that same stove. Welcome to hot tent camping! This popular Scandinavian activity makes snow camping even more fun and comfortable. For this outing, we will head out to Ray Benson Sno Park on snowshoes or XC skis, load up our snow sleds, and head out to Big Lake Youth Camp, where we will socialize and stay cozy in our hot tents!
